Taking into account my overall usage between work and home, including surfing the web, working and gaming it has to be anywhere between 6 and 8 hours a day. That's for during the week. This total is typically much less on weekends, hehe. I'm such a hopeless loser. :p

School days - 6hrs
Non school days - 11-13hrs

EDIT- btw, I do have breaks. (I might just walk around the house to find something to eat every now and then :D )

Well I'm unemployed and not in school so I have a lot for free time.

Lately it's been about 8-10 hours a day when I don't have other stuff to do.

I'm on a computer drawing in AutoCAD most of the day, and then on a home most of the night. So somewhere around 10-14 hrs a day. Less time on the weekends as I usually find something to do outside the apartment for a few hours each day. Eh, I have no life... :(

between modding forums, posting news on Envy, taking the Cisco "online" class, studying for MS certs, and finding a few min to game, I'd say 26hrs a day...

oh, but you said honest...hmmmmmmmmmm

well 4 at night easy...2 in the day...4 at school...so that's ~10 I guess...

nah, it's not stupid. it all depends on how much a life a person has. computer geeks usually have less of a life than the average person. :(

From my research there is no such thing as a computer geek (any longer) it seems people who use there computers for alot, are actually a mix of computer literate and non-literate people. Seeing computers can be used for so many differnt things there is so much a person can do for long amounts of time. Gone are the days where computers are only used for one thing.

Thanx for all posts

9 hours a day at work + at least another 4 hours at home. So 13 hours... That can't be good

i defiantely have to agree, people who use the computer aren't geeks and don't have lives, thats a big misconception. all my friends spend hours on the computers, and i don't think any of them are into graphics, tweaking, hardware like i am. just cause they use computers alot doesn't really mean there geeks. they just go on to chat and stuff. and i'm a geek i guess but i have life outside of computer. being a geek doesn't necesarrily mean being weak and wearing glasses with pocket protectors anymore and no life.

Mon - Fri about 8 hours daily at work and about 3 hours at home. On weekends, I'm usually out, but if I am home, I usually play SC, WC3, UT, etc all day long taking breaks every hour or so, sipping beer :D

It's easier to count the time I'm off the computer... :D

It depends if I go to my father's office or not. I could be 10 hours or I could be 4.... :D

All day at work 8 hours (Since I deal with computers for a living)

The gym at 6pm is my only break. 7PM till I hit the sack 3-4 hours at night.

Monday nights school which is 4 hours.

Total is about 10-12 hours per day including weekends. :)
