View Full Version : How to setup 2048x1536 on a dell P1130

I have just installed a Nvidia FX3000G graphics driver on a Dell machine. The Monitor is Dell P1130. WHen I tried to setup the resolution to 2048x1536, it doesn't work. The graphics driver is 1.0-4620. I have attached the XF86Config and log file with this email.

Could you please send me an example file of XF86Config if you have?

The system works with 2048x1536 resolution with Windows XP and Redhat 9.0 with the Open Source graphics driver 'dri' comes with the OS CD.

After I added the following line into /etc/X11/XF86Config, the system could run at 2048x1536 resolution now:

Option "IgnoreEDID" "true"

It looks like this problem is solved.
