It's cool. If you look deeper, you can get a Sapphire 9800 Pro Ultimate (Zalman cooled) 256 mb for $330. AFAIK, that card ships overclocked so it should be darn close to 9800XT speeds anyway. :D

So long as you still have return options, I don't see why it's a bad thing. Can test it out a lot and see how it works. I know a number of people who've bought Dell refurbs (one laptop, two desktops) and gotten good deals while never having an issue with them.

If it was a company other than Newegg, I would totally agree with you. But for as long as I've known them to sell refurbs I've seen maybe a total of about 5 complaints in the customer reviews of these cards.
