Mandrake 9 rc3

I am trying to get the latest nVidia drivers to work with Mandrake 9 rc3 with no success. Have only tried the rpm's and the tar ball. I have not tried to compile from source...Any ideas??

Download the Final Release (it was on the 25.) then Compile from source.

OR do like I do and wait for 1-2 weeks the NVIDIA should have a RPM for 9.0 finished. (in the previous Distros they had it within a couple of weeks after release.:D

Thanks dude...I am downloading right now and will try to compile from scratch....

Stupid question: How do I "compile it from source"?

Please help, my notebook is now out of commission.
