Hi all,

anyone out there able to play flash animations with full sound? Here I have latest nvaudio, and all I get is jerky sound (animation plays great, though).

Using Fedora Core 1 with:

flash-plugin-6.0.79-2
compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118
opera 7.23
kernel 2.4.22-1.2129.nptlcustom
NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0261

TIA

Andre

Works alright for me, but I use the alsa driver for sound. I also have the low latency scheduler patch in the kenel, which might actually make more of a difference for the situation you describe. I've had some flash animations max out my cpu 100%, so I can easily imagine sound dropping out on an unpatched kernel. Does that nptl custom kernel have the patch applied?

I switched from nVidia's driver to ALSA's, and the probl is indeed gone. Thks for the tip.

nVidia staff: I hope a new (improved) version of nvaudio is on the way... ;)

Best,

Andre
