Hello,
Just wandering, what driver should I use under OpenBSD OS (release 3.4)? Should I use FreeBSD one? Any help is appreciated.

I believe you can use the FreeBSD port under Open too...

I don't have an Open box to check right now, but check your ports collection... If not there, download 4365 and use gmake to ./configure && gmake && gmake install && make clean, it should work nicely...

If you enable linux support i believe you can use the 4365 driver without problems...

Lemme know what happens...

One thing though, why do you want 3d support on an Open box?

Thank you. I'll try in a few days and post results...
And the reason... I just want to have Xv output on my nVidia Vanta card...
And the reason for OpenBSD... I just want to try it. How can can use it on servers without testing on desktops :)

Ahhh... that is a great reason! :-)

Posting from a FreeBSD box right now, but for a firewall... why spend time configuring another system when Open is great from the start... :-)

If you don't get it to work, e-mail me at snap.it@telia.com i'll check it out on my Open box and see what i can find out if that doesn't work... :-)

Well, using the FreeBSD port requires either aliasing dirs or changing the ports install script (not strange since the hier in Free is screwed when compared to other BSD's that have kept the hier from orig), i'll see if i cannot make a universal diff for it I'll post a download link here when i'm done, sooner or later, another Open, or Net for that matter, user might need it...

This post goes to Open's current as more info...
