Asked whether the exclusion of those countries from bidding on construction contracts violates international law, Bush said, "I don't know what you're talking about by international law. I better consult my lawyer."
As I was watching the interview the flippant nature of his remarks was apparent... His lack of respect is almost on par with his lack of respect for the troops when he said "Bring it on...".
I really enjoy everytime Bush opens his mouth unrehearsed, it gives next years voters a chance to seriously consider his opposition....

Interesting. Yet many lefties had no problem with John "my campaign is in the gutter so that's where I learned my language from" Kerry showing a lack of respect. Of course that dude is far from the only one.

Speaking of which, did y'all see that Cheney's old company was recently busted for overcharging the government in a no-bid contract in Iraq (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22173)?
It just seemed relevant somehow...
You liberals only bring me down. I get depressed reading your constant crying.
Yeah you got it soooo bad. Go drive your shinney car and watch your DVD movies on your 60" wide screen HDTV set and eat your dinner steaming hot out of your MICROWAVE. You poor babies.....
In the name that of all that is good and holy please give the crying a rest on this friday.

1. Don't have a car.
2. Don't own a DVD player, but I do own a 27" TV. (not HDTV...)
3. I do however have a microwave... I used it to heat the sandwich I had for dinner last night.
Yeah, I know your point. I'm just screwing with you.

God bless America. :D

This is your arguement??? ROTFLMAO!!!!!
Geez, just because some of us have it good is no reason to be irresponsible... or is that the new conservative belief system?
I support Bush on this issue though. Screw the French, screw the Germans, they deserve nothing for their cowardice. If they want a piece of the pie, they should have sent in their troops in the first place.

Saint Lucifer got my point, why can't you. 1stFlight, I don't like cry baby conservatives either. It is just the left that is crying loudest right now. I don't think the left corners the market in the oh woez me attitude.
BTW I wasn't making and argument. I was making fun of you guys.

Then the same arguement can be made for our agression, why should they forgive debts, pay into the pot (minus France), and support for our troops (Germany, who provides significant medical support, if you don't know).
Theirs wasn't cowardace, it was more reflective of the fact that Bush completely failed and continues to fail to make the case of why we're even went there.
You want to blame someone, he's sitting in the White House.

If this is a call out for me, here let me answer it.
Yes, I am very well employed, odds are I make more (currently) than most here.
Why do I gripe? Simple, I want things to be this good for everybody, even you UDawg. There is no reason for people in our great nation to have to stand in unemployment lines while fat cat CEO's find new ways to ship good jobs overseas.
Make sense yet???!

Heck I am sure you make more than me. I get paid in "discouraging looks" and "what took you so long?" attitudes. :p
