Great shots, some look as if they were painted. I dont know but this game looks so unplayable or that it will just tax the hell out of any card but I know it wont because the Alpha off all things ran halfway decent on my Ti4200 a while back. I cant wait to see other games make use of this engine.:)

Those screenshots are crap! The lighting looks aweful, the poly count looks really low, the textures are very low res and blurry.
Not really :) Just thought i'd say that before someone else does.

the poly count is higher than other games! I'm sure as computers become more powerful in the coming year, we may have an option to "up" the polygons.

Actually, the models only use about as many polygons as System Shock 2 Rebirth do, it's the lighting and bumpmapping that makes them look so good. Kinda like the way that Halo 2's Master Cheif uses less polygons then he did in Halo 1, but looks so much better. Behold the power of surface effects!
Oh, and is it just me, or do those spider things really remind of of The Thing, since it looks like a person's upsidedown head with legs growing from it.

Augh. The game is lacking in bright, pretty colors. id Software still hasn't learned from their mistake in Quake 1. :p

it's a horror game, I don't want bright pretty colors...that's more like Barbie. I want dark, creepy, bloody gameplay without any pitty. I want to meet my DOOM, so to speak.

Idunno.... I think one of the scariest things on the planet is the Barbie toy aisle at the toy store.
I swear, if there is a hell, its pink.... its Barbie Pink :eek:

The barbie toy isle doesn't make you jump out of your chair and screem "holy fook!!" when you turn the corner.
