Just wondering how the 5700 ultra compares to the 5900non ultra. I am having trouble finding 5900nu at around $200 now and was considering getting a 5700ultra instead. The benchmarks I have seen have the 5700 ultra and the 5900 ultra, not the non ultra version. What does everyone think is the better card? Any input would be appreciated.

Any kind of 5900 is significantly faster than a 5700U.

Yep, the 5700U doesn't make sense when you consider the 5900SE is the SAME exact price. You're better off getting a 5900SE and that way you'll have 256bit memory bus

how is compuhq.com? Their reseller rating is not that great. I usually only order from newegg but they obviously do not have the 5900 I want.

one more question for ya. If you dont pay the extra $9.95 for the full retail version you only get a 21 day warranty. Am I interpreting this right? Thanks for the help.

I can only guess. I got the retail version with lifetime warranty, worth the extra 9 bucks if you ask me.

go to http://www.newegg.com

they are one of the BEST resellers on the web, and many people here including myself shop with them exclussively. They also have the FX5900 starting at $188 ;)

That's bullocks if you're ordering a BFG card. Hold onto your packing slip/invoice and if you have a problem with your card, BFG has toll-free 24/7 tech support for the life of the product. If you have a problem, they'll see that the card gets repaired/replaced. It should be a lot easier than having to fight with some of these online resellers.
