anyone heard anything about these? I was looking at the z-680's, but they are out of my price range, and these look decent, but they are fairly new.

any experience or input would be appreciated

Seen a few review on them, and was asking about them a little while back, from the reviews they say they are excellent for the money. From people they said they are the best for the price and that if you have a decent soundcard hardware decoding won't be needed as the soundcard good enough (Auidgy2 ZS)

Maximum PC reviewed them in its latest edition, the speakers received an 8/10 rating.

The biggest complaint is that the speakers use non-standard RCA type connectors that are hard-wired into each speaker, so you're stuck with a permanent speaker wire length. Pretty much the only other downside is no digital decoder.

Other than those two issues, the reviewer said the speakers sounded great and looked great.
