Here is my list.

GeForce 2 Ultra
Geforce 3
Geforce 4 MX
GeForce 4 TI 4600
GeForce 5800U
Geforce 5900U
2 GeForce 5950U

These are cards I still have with me. My reviewers have a many more. But all these are still running and in use.

I always try to hang on to GF3's... I just love em!! :p volt-moddable, OC friendly, AGP overclock-friendly, capable of 14k in 3dmark01... ...and only like $40-55 used...

I hang onto em to help friends out with GF4mx's that wanna play Halo and have it look a little nicer... plus I like to always have one as a capable backup card.. matter of fact I'll be getting a Gainward Golden Sample 128mb ti200 shortly... it already OC's GREAT, but I'm gonna volt mod it and put it in my GF's PC...

.. I know that GF4's sorta out-perform GF3's, but for some odd reason, GF3's are by far and away my fav. DX8 vidcards...

a card that can run XIII smoothly @ 4xAA/4xAF IMO is still a powerful card... :)

...someday I'll find an nvidia engineering sample GF3 with crazy clocks... somewhere there's a 300/600 128mb model... SOMEwhere... ;)

Ge-Force FX 5950 Ultra

That is my NVIDIA card collection and history:firedevil

GF2 MX400, that's it. I have a rule about letting hardware sit on a shelf, I don't. I give it away to good homes to peeps I know will appreciate it. :) (The two execptions to that rule so far are my V5 5500 & Rage Fury (non-Pro) that I hold on to for sentimental & practical reasons. ;) )

GeForce 4 MX 440 SE
GeForce FX 5600 Ultra

That's It

I never hold onto my video cards. No point really especially when I can find them loving homes either via eBay or this forum. The only "spare" card I have is a Gainward GeForce2 Ti. I keep this one around for when I'm between cards in my system. This way I can sell whatever high-end card I have at the time, get the money for it and send it out while I await its replacement. It has served its purpose extremely well, and it's the card I would use in a second "retro" box if/when I get the time and money to build one. :)

Oh wait, there's also the vanilla 5200 that's going into an A/V computer soon.

GF4 TI4400

That's it. All other computers in my home have ATI cards. I am actually a relatively new Nvidia convert, since Summer 2002. That's because that's when I purchased the R8500 and it made my life miserable. R8500 gave me nothing but image tearing, unstable Opengl, and some games refused to work at all. So I got a friend's advice, sold the R8500 on ebay, got a GF4, and couldn't believe how much easier it was to install and use without issue. It was a really nice change of pace, and I've never been this happy with any other video card I've owned. I plan to keep this card as long as possible, and when the day should come that it can't cut it anymore or it breaks, I will be very torn to choose between ATI and Nvidia. Only time will tell.

GF4TI OWNZ!

gf2mx400 -Ino3d
that's all i have ...

12-22-03, 02:57 PM
Hercules Prophet DDR/DVI
Gainward GF2mx 200
3dPower/AMM Morpheus GF3
Abit Siluro Ti4600

I've cut down from 13 to 9 systems on the home lan, currently all but the GF3 are in running systems, and it will be replacing an ATi Xpert 98 when I get around to watercooling that system......gave away all my 3dfx cards, probably should have kept the 5500:nana:

The only NVIDIA card I still have and use is my vanilla GF3 (pre-TI aera).
My old cards are all sold.

Looking at current titles like "XIII" or "Prince of Persia" I see no sane reason to get a new card. Even Halo runs fine.

Did I mention I love how POP looks? It has the very best graphics I have seen to date in a PC game. It renders perfectly smoothly with a GF3 on full details at 800x600.

I start to like the XBOX. Games written multi-platform for both XBOX and PC will usually run just fine on a vanilla GF3 for obvious reasons. :p

geforce4mx (2...one in my stepbro's dell, one in my dad's G4)
Geforce4 Ti4200 current card, works well

I'm like digital wanderer, other people get to use my older cards for the most part (actually "the family descends upon my old hardware like a flock of starving vultures" would be closer to the truth...)

I've Got my current card, a GF4 MX400 and a TNT-2 M64 around at the moment, along with a Voodoo2. The M6 & V2 aren't currently being used.

I'd pull that 5800 Ultra out of action and keep that as a cool collector's item...That is really on par with the Voodoo5 6000...

Ditto. For the most part, I give them to friends including our moderators and staff members.

A most bizzare deal took place a few weeks ago when I bartered with a plumber who did some repair work in our kitchen. On his way to the kitchen, he noticed an XFX GeForce FX 5200 Ultra voucher box that was in the living room.

You have to hand it to XFX for their eye-catching design. Here's a box shot from their GeForce FX 5950 Ultra that I am testing.

I eventually discovered that he was an avid gamer and fond of NVIDIA graphics cards. I showed him my system and he freaked out when I played back demos from Nascar Thunder 2004. He is also a hardcore fan of Nascar racing.

The one card I'll never part with is the 1MB Diamond Stealth 64 I played the original Quake on. I played that game every day for two years and was heavy into the clan scene. Ahh, yes, those were the days. Software graphics mode at a resolution of 320x240

I had one of those in me old 486/SX 33 turned DX 100. Need for Speed for DOS, Quake, Doom II, Hexen, Aces over Europe. Thems were the days. :D

TNT {retired}
GeForce 2 GTS {do dead cards count?}
GeForce 3 Ti500
GeForce 4 Ti4600

12-23-03, 10:38 AM
STB Velocity 4400 (TNT1 w/ crapest TVout ever)
GeForce 1

12-23-03, 12:15 PM
I just sold my old geforce2 GTS for 25 euros to my brother :headbang:

TNT2 Vanta (great idea, release a budget card in the Voodoo 3 era that's slower then a Voodoo 2!)
"Apollo" Geforce 2 MX (better then the TNT2 Vanta, but still only a little faster then my Voodoo 3. Damn 3rd world country products)
GF3ti200 (now we're talking! My first high-end videocard. Fond memories of Morrowind and X-isle with pixel shading)
GF4ti4200 (not a huge improvement over the GF3, but cheap enough that it was worth it)

Currently, I have my TI4200 in. Just beat DX:IW with it at 800x600 with 2xAA. Was going to upgrade to a 9600, but wasn't worth the price.
