View Full Version : 2xAA and vsync in 52.16 (at least)?

Something seems very wrong. I disable vsync everywhere--RivaTuner, control panel, whatever. I turn on 2xAA. vsync magically comes back on.

it is still listed as off, but I have confirmed that it is on in UT2003 and Call of Duty, so both D3D and OGL. UT2003 at least is trying not to use vsync. any ideas?

Doesn't happen with other AA modes.

Somebody explain this before I rip my hair out.

Test it on other drivers :) It could always be a driver specific bug or just a Forceware bug.

On a 5900 it doesn't do this with the 45.23 drivers. It has to be a driver-specific thing.

it's way weirder than this. it looks like something got forced on.... but then I got it to turn off. I don't know.
