How many r using the older 4x drivers over the newer 5x drivers?
I was wondering.
I see a lot of post with people saying they use the 44.03's.
I still love the 45.23 whql's.

Also why do u like the ones u r using better? :)

The Det50s have issues with Punkbuster. RTCW is my favorite FPS multiplayer shooter. It's definately not an option to use the Det50s (whatever revisions there are).

45.23 on FX5900 right here. I do kind of miss the updated FSAA modes of the 5x.xx drivers but all the other bugs that have reared their heads are keeping me using the ones I have now.

53.03. Best looking UT2003 drivers of the bunch with control panel AF, for sure, plus they don't have the unsane -nosound problem.

The only FSAA modes 5x.xx has over the 40 series are 1x2 SS, 2x1 SS, and some odd mystery modes which aren't exposed by any tweaker program. 1x2 SS and 2x1 SS are pretty pointless in that they only do AA on certain edges, so you really aren't missing much.

I swore by 45.23 det's for the longest time, and I suppose I still do. However in the past week or so I switched to 53.03 because it seems to better handle multi-monitor setups. Aside from a slightly lower 3dmark score (like I care  ) the 53.03 drivers are working perfectly fine for me. UT1, UT2k3, Halo
