I wonder why someone would download 1300 songs in the first place do you ever listen so many :wtf: that would take a year to listen to all of them... i guess that brat got what he deserved.
1300 songs isn't that much, 100 CDs maybe. Lots of people have a CD collection of atleast 100 discs.
The RIAAs actions are wrong and probably illegal, but most people can't afford the time-consuming expensive process of fighting the RIAA in court.

I've got roughly 700 songs. And, I buy CDs too, but not very often. Seriously the RIAA can shove it up their browneye. And didn't the courts just rule what the RIAA is doing IS Illegal ??

OH NOES! I have over 4000 songs on my drive but most are from CDs that I bought or I *cough* ripped from my friends that bought them.
i have several thousand mp3s, ripped from cds that i own or borrowed, or downloaded. i'm considering buying a 120 gig harddrive and ripping my entire collection since i find the mp3 format a lot more convenient than having to constantly switch cd's (i have several 100 cd's, and still occassionally buy new ones, only if i know if the cd contains more than 1 or 2 good songs).
there are commercials playing on the radio extolling the virtues of buying cds. the slogan is: you don't need talent to make music, buying music helps keep music coming. pure b/s. if the music industry shut down today, i wouldn't care, since i have all the music i need and want, and most of the stuff that they're making today is not worth listening to, it's pure commercialized crap.

I legally own more music than that. 1300 is not much at all.
