I have been trying to install the nvidia drivers on my College Linux with KDE 3.1 system

I have a Dell Dimension 8100 P4 1.3GHz Socket 423 256mb RDRAM, FX5900 128MB from asylum/bfg

When i boot into console and try to install it tells me i need a kernel and when it searches for one it doenst find anything and cant install...

What do i do?
Thanks,
Ben :afro:

Sounds like you need to install the kernel source for your distro
