hey guys, i recently picked up a 5700u and i want to use the s-video feature but my tv doesnt have one.. but my dvd player does, can i somehow connect th pc to the dvd player and still get it to show on the tv.. thx

You will have to get an s-video to RCA converter. They run about 11-13$ at radioshack if you need one right away. You could most likely find them cheaper online.

Did you not get an s-video->rca adapter with your graphics card?

Yeah id check to make sure you did not already get one.

BTW it could look really small or be a cable itself.

well.. most cards dont come with the rca to svideo connections.

I find it to be the other way round, I have hundreds of them at work from various GeForce3s and 4s, quite a few different brands. Or does it have to be a specific direction and the ones that come with the cards are the wrong type?
