ATI posted some neato DOOM 3 video footage that's part of some promos they have on the site coming in at 41-77 megs, depending on what size movies you get.

Havent checked it out myself but i hear its no big deal & is pretty much footage thats already been seen before.. better than nothing i guess :)

yeah vid clip for doom3 is kinda short but it is high detail and it looks very nice.

For those of u who havent seen it as far as the doom III footage goes its really short and is nothing we havent seen before.. its just basically higher quality thats all.

Given time it will pop up round the place again :)

Yeah, Ive been waiting for a game that really taxes my system. Kinda looking forward to Doom, not as much as Im looking forward to UT2k3 and StarWars Galaxies though hehe.

Ye.. true.

I myself am looking forward to it but atm am not overly excited as the game is still some time away. There will be plenty of great games released prior to Doom so atm im looking forward to those :)

"Id Software has confirmed that the next major showing of Doom III will come at QuakeCon 2002, which starts two weeks from today in Mesquite, Texas, near Dallas. Atmospheric 5.1 audio played a big role in the E3 2002 demo, as it will in the game, and to ensure a good listening environment on the noisy E3 show floor, id conducted the demonstration in a custom-built theater that sat approximately 20 people. The QuakeCon demo will also take place in that theater, which is pictured in the photos above.
However, the QuakeCon demo won't just be a repeat of what we saw at E3. GameSpot has learned that the QuakeCon demo will include an additional level not seen at E3."

I'm just hoping for a high resolution, official video to hit the internet. Hopefully id realizes releasing a video on the internet would only help people get more excited for the game.

the real question is when is this game coming out. i still remember a few people who thought it would make it out this year :p all i've heard is a "2003 launch," withno indication as to when that may actually be.

and there will still probably be delays, much like UT2003 has been delayed for a few months now, again, with no indication as to when it will be out.
