I am currently looking into the Creative Labs Gigaworks S750 (7.1, 44Khz, 700RMS SNR 99db) 260 (Analog type only) or the Logitech Z680 w/ SB Audigy live drive for Optical out (5.1, 20KHz, Digital, 505RMS, SNR ?db) 220+80.

My soundcard is an Auidgy2 ZS 7.1 Retail, shame that just to get optical out i need to spend 80 extra which is how much it cost me just for the Audigy2 ZS

Get the Logitech Z680's you won't regret it. Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-121-105&catalog=60&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1) has 'em now for $284

LMFAO just asked this question at an other fourm and they said to go with the Gigaworks, they said it's speaker sound quality is far better due to the 7.1 running at 40Khz over 20Khz which gives more bandwith. But they did say that if i want more booming sub then the Z680's. So looks like my choise is clear, i can't have my sub too boomy people are already complaining about my CLabs 5300 (79w total) while now it's 70w per speaker and theres 7 of them :firedevil:

Wow. Never knew the GigaWorks costed that much. You may also want to check out the Ventriloquist (http://www.hsustore.com/vt12.html) by Hsu Research. You'll need to buy a sub though since this one doesn't come with one. One thing you never mentioned was your budget. How much are you willing to spend?
