Flashing 256Pro to XT?

Saw this writeup. Does anyone know where there is a bios
to flash a 256meg pro to a XT?

I guess I can use this one.
It's says 9800Pro to XT.
I'm guessing 256meg is the same.
XT's are 256meg.
Any idea?

This flash even turns on overdrive. :D
So I guess I'll really have a Asus 9800XT with overdrive for 399 bucks. "lol" :D

I just flashed my bba 9800np to xt. Had to lower the memory clocks of course. Now I can finally score over 6,000 :)

I've got to use the bios they put up back in Oct.
It reaches and grabs over 128megs when needed.
This new bios is made for 128 meg cards and just
looks for and uses 128 megs.

I've already downloaded it and flash 1.3.
Drivercleaner is already installed.
I have the newest ATI drivers off there site.
I'm ready to go. ;)

Don't mind me, I'm just jealous. I don't think there'll be any "Flash your GF2 MX 400 to a 5950 Ultra!" posts any time soon. :p

D00d, you can do that? Awsome, now I don't have to buy a new graphics card, I can just buy an old one and flash it to faster speeds! Woot! 1R1337!!!!!111 :rolleyes:

Well you can flash a GeForce 2 MX 400 to a 5950...the card just wont work :p

maybe you can change the name, and flash it, so at boot up it say GeForce FX 5959 XT Ultra!!111 and the rest is psychology. set digital vibrance at max and tell them the card is too fast for the colors.
