I'm not sure if you have seen the packaging from Sparkle for the FX 5700 Ultra 128MB - Platinum and FX 5950 Ultra 256MB DVI/TV-Out - Platinum. Here they are anyway.

Yeah, I've been seeing some peculiar packaging out there... I guess companies have to fight for notice among all the other options SOMEhow. Even the "put a hot chick on the box" tactic wears thin eventually... :p

Those things look like giant cans of raquetballs. I personally couldn't care less about packaging. It's all about what's on the inside and the company standing behind that product, which I why I like BFG. Plus it doesn't hurt that I've actually met the folks that work there and they're just like us. :D

thats pritty trippy YO
but i love packaing, the VisionTek line (ati) has really cool plastic boxes that is simi transparent, and they make their boxes alot smaller compared to most boxes you find. I liked it alot.
Doesn't everyone know it's fancy packaging that makes a card a performer?

As soon as you put big yellow stickers on the box you're able to overclock your card by at least 20 MHz!
