Maybe I missed something, but the price of that EVGA 5900 Ultra on the main NVNews page isnt all that great.

NewEgg is selling 256Mb 5900 Ultras and 256Mb 9800 Pros for less than that, and have been for a while.

Or is the EVGA deal special for some reason. :confused:

Well it's incredibly unthrilling, if that's what was meant. ;) Especially in light of already being there in some outlets, and the current BIOS tricks being played with its half-priced brother. Hehe...

For the eVGA card, it is a pretty good deal. The cheapest for that specific card on pricewatch is $378.

Yep... There r cheaper cards out there.
But heck a OEM cost 339.

So why not just get a retail for 350. I would. :)
