Is it out?
Their website is slow (although I'm only on dial-up :( ) on the first page it mentions Red Hat 8 and someone I know was talkin about a 3.1GB d/l from there.

This is rather off beam for an nVidia forum, but you can get a reasonable download speed by ftp from the following UK mirror:

ftp://mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/8.0/en/iso/i386

It will take you at least 80 hours (!) for the 5 ISO images, so depending on what you pay for internet connection time, it may be a lot cheaper to order the CDs. Try the "Pink Tie" set from http://www.cheapbytes.com - currently being prepared - it will cost about $15 and takes 5 days to reach the UK via Airmail.
