It is now well over a year ago since S3G launched (http://www.s3graphics.com/pressrel/2003_01_07.html) the Deltachrome. Could we please see some cards on the market soon?
The time from "launch" to market avalibility on this chip is getting beyond ridiculus...
As far as I know, Club3D is the only confirmed card builder to use the DC chips... I read somewhere that Abit would use it too, but there is no confirmation about this on their site. Anyone know of any other boardmaker?

Deltachrome is not bad , but its hardly and upgrade from your Radeon 9500 .
Wasn't it mainly aimed for OEMs and that wierd console thingy.

Deltachrome is a name like Geforce is a name...

There's low-end, mainstream, and enthusiast-level parts.

Well... preview test show the DC S8 model to perform rather equal to my 9500Pro... and it seems the F1 model has been scrapped, or so it has been said.
I'm just interested in the DC thing, and there are plenty of other computers around here that my Radeon could call home if I were to replace it...

There will be no F1 model according to S3 : it has been scraped as it just wasn't competitive enough hardware wise.

And no, there are no Deltachrome plans for ABIT.
Only manufacturer who signed a contract so far with S3 is Club3D/Powercolor (yes, they're both the same company)
