Wrong, I have the DirectX9.1 beta and its running all my DX9 games at blistering speeds on my 5900, not 100x but arount 80-95x ;)

Coming from a Nvidai user, I just think this whole DX9.1 is one big joke, sure I would love for a huge boost, wouldnt anyone? but I aint going to kid myself :)

Personally I have no idea of DX9.1 etc but the 60% performance increase is in line with what is being quoted around the gearbox forums for Halo. Apparently gearbox/bungie have reworked the shaders etc to get a "60%" boost in some scenearios. maybe someone got confused with the erm....Halo 60% performance boost and erm...60% boost with a mythical DX release...or...
