on my work pc, i have a P4 2.8 and 512 ddr and all that, but the thing is... i am having to use the integrated graphics. it is the intel 865G chipset. well, for now the only video card i have lying around is an AGP nvidia riva tnt2 64. should i use it? or use integrated?

use the integrated. not like you need 3D support.

Actually intel 865G chipset is close to normal TNT2, going to 64bit vanta will be downgrade i think.

everything runs okay, but i just like the best performance i can get. and yeah, its a vanta, i overclocked it. HAHA, I GET BORED AT WORK) to am amazing 160 on the core and 180 on the memory. wow, how times have changed

how much memory does yoru computer have. If you said less than 256 megs, you'd be better off reclaiming that memory used by the integrated card and instaling the Vanta. Thats what I did on my work PC

Hey buddy, first, your question is valid and there's no reason any of us shd laugh over it ;).

Second, if you need 3D, the TNT2 will still be better. In terms of 2D, my own experience with Intel Extreme is :rolleyes:
