That a normal P4 in there? If so, I hope you don't plan to be using the battery too much because you'll be lucky to get an hour's worth of use out of it. It must also weigh a ton.
But I'm sure lightness and battery life weren't of the utmost importance, right? ;)

one question--why? why do you need a 3.2Ghz P4 on a LAPTOP? seems excessive to me, unless you're using it as a mobile audio/visual workstation (or just a way to pass time on long flights :P )

I just Got a new Job in the private sector where i will be doing a lot more Traveling. I wanted a laptop that would replace my desktop. That would do absolutely everything i wanted. From Networking, to Gaming without missing a beat.
Thus if I am in a Hotel in Nebraska i can still play my latest PC game or burn a Disk, or design a web page. (I am doing a lot more design work at my new job).

Fair nough. If it were me, I'd probably just pick up a Centrino laptop with a giant monitor, but that's more because I'm going to college and would like to use it outside.

here is some better pics of it. The specs on this one are the 533mhz system. so it only has the mobility 9000 in it. The Case and the rest of the base stuff are the same.

Those pics with my above specs.
please tell me you are getting it with the integrated wi-fi unit...

THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!!
ill post some pics later. First thing i did was install the latest omega driver build and overclock the GPU ;)
amazingly the default core on the 9600 mobility Turbo is 350mhz!!! up from 300mhz for the standard. I was easily able to clock the thing to 400mhz Core and 300mhz RAM. The ram was 270mhz.
Just had time to run Aquamark03.
Score 26,447
I have to actually work now but i will post more benches later.
This is hands down the most beautiful piece of technology i have ever seen!!.
Enjoy it Hellbinder :)
I have the same one except not quite as many toys included. Picked it up off ebay. I still can't get over the screen, so nice.
