Just got my new BFG 5900 nu and Black Knight 550 WATT psu and bam the psu goes up in smoke and took my 5900 nu w/ it.

Come to find out the actual power of my 550 WATT power house from realpcpower.com is only like 200 to 230 WATTS.

This is just such a bummer people please onlu use name brand PSUs you have read many reviews on for you new systems!!

Bummer... that sucks. :( Thanks for the heads up, however I only buy Antec or Enermax PSU's. Still good info to know though.

Peace,

that sucks! try to RMA the video card, and if you can RMA the PSU thats fine but I wouldnt bother using it. Sell the returned PSU on ebay, and get yourself an Antec or Enermax PSU instead

Heh. I had an Antec Truepower that died on me, and took my hard drive with it. I really think that the problem was that Antec decided to go for the individual power channels for 3.3V and 5V. More electronics means more can go wrong.
