Enhance cooling!

Get rid of those ****ty metal grilles/meshes covering your intake/exhausts!


Most cases come with thick, crappy grills on the case locations.

By cutting these off with a pair of shears (or even the wirecutter i used), you can :

a) Increase airflow

B) DRAMATICALLY reduce sound level of your fans. <-Seriously


It's tough on your hands if you use a wirecutter, but there's nothing wrong with a ghetto solution.

just came to me

Fans were iritatingly loud. Loud annoying whine.

Not now. and my case temp is lower, too,

I think people did it, but just never bothered to mention it.

I dont have a dremel, but when i figured out i could do it with wirecutters, i jumped on it.

Everyone should do it.

Yeah, I have like 6 fan punchout things I have to cut out, but this is a new case, so I will let it be for a while. Besides, other than my GF4 cooler and my Thermaltake Volcano 7+, I have seven other fans blowing in my computer. So, if temp starts risin in it, then I'll cut it, but for now, they stay.:D
