View Full Version : bragging rights
You're reading the post of the proud owner of a brand new 21" true flat Sun Microsystems (sony made) trinitron CRT monitor. Why isn't this in general hardware? Because it's not about the hardware. It's about the price. I only paid 150 bux for this thing and the only problem is the casing is a little scuffed along with the slightest nick in the AGAS coating in the top right corner. Do I have a right to brag? You bet your 17" I do!

Thanks, I'll check it out...but I probably will just do my usual. (I go to the local PC show that comes around once every other month and buy a nice 17" for $50. It's a damned hard deal to beat since shipping is usually such a bite for monitors. ;) I'm hoping this time they have some decent 19"ers for cheap, but a 17" will do. :) )

Yeah, I'm sort of in the same boat. My daughter's computer "Kitty" only has an old 15" Dell monitor and her new set-up really deserves a decent 17" one. :(
Hey, four year olds can be picky geeks too! :p
