My good friend and associate has been in country for a bit now and has sent me some photos that I will share with you. Mind you, this guy is no REMF and gets to see some pretty amazing stuff. The one picture of the captured opium is one of my personal favorites. I hope that some of you find these interesting.

He is a member of the baddest of them all; he is a Ranger. You know, the guys that help rescue recon marines, hehe.

I could tell he was a Ranger just by his demeanor! :D

That 1000 yard stare in the second pic helped, too! :p

I don't know what he tells you BK but he seems more than just a ranger. Him and the guys he was with. They are to seasoned to me to be infantry.

He tells me what he can. He is indeed more than reg. inf., he has been spec ops for years. He gets attached to various agencies at times... I think the beard is non-regulation too.

LOL ya the beard was a dead give away and the fact he has a m4 instead of a m16. :D he is at least a part of some SOG.

Can you tell us where the 5th one down is? I think the colour and detail of that structure are amazing.

I could not tell you. All I know is that it is an old mosque.(See picture titles for as much information as can be disclosed)

That is a beautiful mosque in the fifth picture.
