hi, i'm sort of a noob at this, i'm wanting to upgrade to a non ultra 5700, and i wanted to know what the memory bandwith was on the non ultra version, i know the 5200 is 6.4gb and so is the 5600 i believe, and the 5700 ultra is 14.4 gb, so i was wondering if the 5700-non ultra, had the same memory bandwith as the ultra version?, any help would be appreciated, thnx
5700 = 8.8gb
5700U = 14.4gb

thnx a lot for the help :) another question, would it be worth it to get the ultra version which is only 128mb vs the non ultra which is 256mb

In a word, yes.
The 5700U uses 128M of DDRII ram clocked at 450MHz (900 effective) and the 5700 with 256M of ram and generally uses DDR ram clocked at 250MHz (500 effective). So, like Sat said, Yes.
A better buy would be the 5900XT/SE or the 5900NU imho. At the same price point as the 5700U, you're getting double the power and bandwidth with a 5900 based card.
