ok i'm thinking about ordering this card http://www.gameve.com/gve/Store/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=VC-CHAIN-015 its the cheapest 5900 that i could find on price watch and it is neither an SE or XT as far as i can see, so is there any reason not get this, especially since on pricewatch the cheapest 5900se is 183? i'm new at this so i need help lol, i know some people will come come on and tell me to get ati, but i want a 5900 i just want to know if this is a true 5900 not an se or xt and is it worth it, thnx in advance.:afro2:
It also only gives a general description of the clock speeds and not specific i think, so would i be better off going for the EVGA 5900se?

Good idea to buy a 5900NU, SE or XT. Bad idea to order it from GameVE as lots of folks have had problems with them. Try to find a slightly more reputable seller. Look at www.resellerratings.com for better online shops.
FX5900 NU / XT / SE are all good cards, but I've heard mixed reviews about GameVE.com.
Try http://www.newegg.com instead, they're excellent

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=696848&Sku=E145-5900&CatId=694 this is about the same as newegg, the only reason i might not get it from newegg is because you have to order online, and i ususally order over phone, but its pretty much the same price at newegg, so is this looking like a good buy, btw thnx for the quick replies
looks pretty good... you might be able to get it a little cheaper elsewhere, but I'm not sure who has phone orders besides Tiger. But Tiger is decent, not my favorite, but decent enough
$190 seems fair for that card if you insist on phone order, and EVGA makes good stuff :)
