K... I was just reading and read somewhere that the right to bear arms is an "in-alienable god given right"

is this so? I never heard that before...

I don't think so. It is a constitutional right as we all know but a God given right? No. I disagree with that. If I sazar and I are wrong, please enlighten us.

I meant I didn't think it was actually a god given right either. Sorry I didn't express myself clearly.

i always wear short sleeved tee-shirts in the summer, hence i bare my arms. it's weird that Americans make a big deal about it. :lol:

I've spoken to the Lord, and he never said anything about guns.

One day I was sitting in my living room when a great pillar of light burst through my ceiling and revealed God. God and I looked at each other for a moment until he finally broke the silence.

"My son, how are you doing this day?" he asked.

I sat in the calmness of the room looking at my broken ceiling. Many thoughts ran through my mind and I finally chose my words. "I'm okay... how are you?"

God then replied, "Oh, you know. Same old, same old."

"Yeah..."

God stood with a strange sense of awkwardness. "Well, I'm going to let you go... you're probably busy."

"Not really."

"Well, I'll just have to let you go anyway." God began to summon the pillar of light.

"But wait, Lord! What do you want me to tell everyone?"

i dont believe in god given rights, it sounds a bit strong too. like bearing arms was a requirement to survive.

I know this is totally OT, but one of the things I do like about MT vs. CA (where I lived for 12 yrs) is the lack of a sales tax. We have -0- sales tax here. For now anyway..
