I think they'll wait until the NV40 and R420 hit so they can claim 2x - 3x their performance within a few months. :D

Not going to happen - they are specialising in the mobile chip market now i.e. their Acceleon is used in Mobile phones and they are going after the PDA market and other similar devices.

They are now competing with PowerVR IP and NVidia have just announced something as well. No doubt ATI will be competing also!

My money is on PowerVR's stuff as their deferred rendering tech is ideal for such limited-bandwidth devices. :afro:
