View Full Version : Triple Display w/ Dual Card

Do you have three displays but your video card is just Dual VGA? Sure, you can always add more video cards to support more displays. However, if you don't want to do that you can just drop down $50 and put that third display to use without additional hardware. Looks pretty slick, I'm going to try it out at work tomorrow. My setup is that I have a desktop replacement laptop with dual video (GeForce Go FX 5600) support and I have two NEC 19" CRTs from my old workstation. So, I'm going to connect the two CRTs to my laptop for three displays. Can't wait! :D

that looks pritty cool actually but it seems like a waste for a whole pc heh.

EDIT: Something that's actually pretty cool though is that you still have the ability to switch between apps on the "borrowed" PC (via ALT+TAB). So, you can still use it as you normally would at any time.
