Maybe now they'll finally STFU about this. They've been blabbering on about it for months now.

It's tired and chiched but it has to be done:

Na na na na...na na na na...hey, hey, hey...goodbye. :D

Why does the left hate the rich so much and why are they so up in arms about CEO's? It is a big waste of time to me.

You are exactly right Rip, no one cares about Martha except the media. To me this is not a story at all.

Edited by MUYA: you left the T out of the Story ;)

Let me know when you figure the media out. I can't make heads or tails out of it sometimes. Like how they wouldn't shut up about SARS - never mind the fact the flu kills many many times more people each year.

It's kinda funny about martha though. I've heard some conservative talk show host (dunno which 1 it was, might've been savage) saying the whole thing was silly: it was over a 40,000 dollar stock sale when the lady has millions. In other words, he didn't think they should even be bothering her over it. I think that's a bunch of crap: if she broke the law she should pay, no matter how much money she already had or if it was "only" 40 grand.

A new movie title, I just thought of it: Godzilla vs. Marthra.

She will have to serve a year atleast in prison and federal charges carry no parole. Jacko and Jayson Williams both better pack there bags in the dead of night and find some island with no extradition treaty with the U.S because there going down like Martha's stock.

Isn't it ironic O.J will be able to point and laugh at Martha for being a jail bird?:p

the media cares about this story because she is a quasi-celebrity, and the fall of a celebrity is good entertainment (ie, kobe bryant). i would be really happy if i never hear about martha ever again, but there will be books, 60 minutes special reports, tv movies .... so much overload that we'll be all sick of her.

for what its worth... what she did was ILLEGAL.. and whenever someone does something ILLEGAL there are consequences...

insider trading is a felony... regardless of who does it... the rich get away with it since they have more money for the trades... if i had millions and was trading I would get juicy tidbits and be able to use that to my advantage while the poor peons in their millions who trade on stuff during regular hours would not... it happens everywhere... she just got caught and apparently made good enough television... so they stuck with it...

It's a big deal to me for one reason...

If I dumped $40,000 worth of shares on insider stock tips and lied to the Federal Government I'd be in jail faster then you can say "bubba's bit**".

See ya Martha! Wouldn't want to be ya!
