Just have a few 'querys' about the overdrive feature on the XT cards.

1) I am assuming using it still keeps it under warrenty yeah?
2) Whats the average overclock? Has it got better with later drivers? Is the overclock it applies the same for everyone?
3) I assume all 9800XT's support it, but only certain 9600XT's do right?

Yeah, the overdrive keeps it under warrenty!
Not sure about the average overclock, but it changes with your temp though heh.

And some companys (shady) are not putting on the thermal tempature thing so baislcy some non Built By ATi cards id be kinda skepticle.

i believe 417 is the max overclock on the card, dont quote me on that tho =p

i will say that it ONLY overclocks the core and not the ram on the card. i dunno if it really makes any difference on mine, but it sure does give me a nifty lil extra tab in my catalyst drivers lol.

all in all i dig my card i guess, i dunno, since i started gaming more and benchmarking less, to be honest, i really havent cared how fast it is. its fast enough to make games fun and thats all i care about

When you did benchmark, what score did that A64 3200+ & 9800XT pull in 3dmark2001se? :)

Not really all 9800XT's support it except the ASUS card, also all 9600XT's support it.
