First day out, already go Athena Sword Probs

Hello everyone,

I'm sure everyone was as happy as I when AS came out today.

I have a Geforece 4 ti4400 with 128 (MSI). And Athena sword is running ****ty on it. The normal running around isn't bada...it's a drop but still between 35-60, depending what i'm loking at.

My problem I encounter is mainly in firefights. I drop really low and I skip and jump around. Am I doing something wrong? My settings will be posted below. But I can't imagine my 4400 played RvS GREAT and then to AS ****ty. Especially with this weird firefightting slow down. Anyone got tweaks, or suggestions? Let me know.

AS Settings:
1024x768
tried it with high on everything and low on pretty much everything, either way, slow.

Computer:

AMD Athlon XP 2100+
Abit KR7A-133R (KT266A)
Hercules Game Theater XP 7.1
512MB Ram
Primary 80GB HD Sec-120GB (both IBMs (before Hitachi got em))
Lite-On 52X
BenQ DVD

I noticed Raven Shield in general is mainly only CPU and Internet hogger , if you have fast internet connection set Netspeed 20000 and with fast CPU you can get easely 100+

I had Athlon xp 2400 and 1.5 mb cable i would get from 30 to max 60 even lowe with decals and effects at max , with Athlon 64 and 3 mb cable i get over 100+ no matter what :D

Athena Sword is suppose to have improved net code :confused: proper instalation is Raven shield + 1.55 then Athena + 1.01 ;)

Hmmm, that kinda sucks. I do have 1.5mb Cable.

I did the install quite nicely, no problems. I'm actually reinstalling today, which was why I wanted to know some tweaks.

However my friend has a 5200, and she has a great cable connect, somwhere near 3 Mbps. And she's getting the same thing.
