I liked their first Step Up program a lot better (2 years after Ti500 IIRC) . However, I do question why buying a eVGA card now in anticipation of buying NV40 would affect a person's buying decision. Fact is there is NO and I mean 0 video card manufacturers that allow a similar program. 90 days after purchase get FULL credit for the card you bought at the price you bought it for towards the purchase of a new card minus shipping and taxes

Well ATI does have a trade up program but it's for $50 on any video card . Not quite the same.

As to NV40, I've been informed that the program has nothing to do with the release of that card. 1

Let me state, that I do think EVGA has a strategy for those on the program who bought after Feb 1st, otherwise why have a cut-off date of February 1st . Why not March 1st when the program started? But don't assume it unless it's in writing
