Those shots are sweet! Certainly a lot better than NV3X AA thats for sure.

Ahem. Actually Hyp-X over at B3D has posted some very interesting research which indicates that the images provided are actually nothing more than 4XOG + 9-tap filter (i.e. Quincunx deluxe!). Very interesting. His posts are about half-way down the page:
Sample pattern comparison (http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10936&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=100)
It still loooks better than anything I've seen posted from a NV3X.

Well, the image certainly looks 'smoother' but unfortunately, the blur reduces detail compared to other AA methods. This is much more obvious when comparing shots with images from other cards such as the R3X0 family (I think there may be some comparison shots earlier in that thread).
I'm hoping for something newer than "Quincunx deluxe" from the NV40 as the AA quality of NV's chips has been at a standstill for some time now. I like new technology!

It would be great if someone could actually post a screenshot for comparison with 4x+9tap AA in UT2004 from a current NVIDIA card in the same position.
