evga 5900se cooling replacement

i am going to replace the evga stock cooling (and keep it in a box so when i step up i can put it back on)... and i think the evga is aluminum.. and the iceberq that i am gonna use todya is copper..

copper is a getter heat disapater right?

Copper conducts heat better, drawing it away from the core.
