56.56 and 56.64 do not work properly

Hi Folx,
is anyone of you in the same trouble like me?
I Have a MSI NV FX 5900 SP and the new drivers do not work 4 me.
I installed both version of each (intl' and english) all have the same error.

Windows and 2D works fine , but if I start a game which needs 3D support, the screen turns black, Windows signals an error by a beep tone and it throws me back to the desktop.

A friend of mine has much different hardware than me and has the same probs.

It seems, the prob does only appear on Windows XP. W2k should work fine.

Any solutions?

We had a problem with 56.64 screwing up transparency when used with textures on a Quadro FX1000 board. Had to drop back to a certified release and the problem went away.

I have fixed the problem by myself.
The error was an old Bios version of my Mainboard.
Dumb and stupid :/
