what is everyones opinion about this video card?

ASUS 5700 256-Bit 256 DDR...but is this DDR 2 or 1?

250 bucks canadian...is it worth the buy?

I say wait till the new GPU cards are available at your local internet/retail store. That way you get the current 5900XTs, or 9800 for lot less if you want 256 bit memory interface! :D

5700 does not...i repeat does not have a 256 bit memory interface, only 128 bit one.

I think its a typo on that page, it should probably read it has 256MB memory on board.

Advertising a 256 bit memory controller on a card that doesnt have one, is a blatant typo....I'm going to send them a nasty e-mail.
