wow thats a bit on the antiqauted side. Best bet is to hop onto a Athlon64 3200+ or Intel P4 3Ghz!. If u have the moneh! :D

You want to go Athlon64...ppl are racing about VIA K8T800 chipsets...

P4..i865PE mobos :D

AthlonXP nForce2 Ultra 400! :D

AGP mobos are going to be around till 2005 at least then then PCI Express will start dominating. Till then NV and ATI are going support AGP! :D

your 9500 will be fine on a nForce2 mate ;)

Memory...dunno I use Geil! they are nice modules but I don't O/C. Ask Rage or Saturnman I belive as they have Geil Ram modules as well but I think they overclock!.

I just got one of the MSI PT880 mobos for 50 bucks- it screws with a P4 2.8E and a Ra-dong 9800pro. Dunno how it overclocks yet as I havn't burned it in- but to be guranteed a couple years futureproofing at that price....well, u do the math.

Yes 9500 should be fine with nForce.

Buy some ram that wont hurt your overclocking. Since you are going to get a 2500+, DDR3200 or more should be good enough.

If you are getting new RAM and a mobo to overclock, then you might as well get the overclocking champoin. XP-M 2500+ for $93 on newegg. Most people easily get it up to 2.5GHz, and that's not on stupidly high voltages either. Great CPU, if i diddn't already have an unlocked 2500+ and could get XP-M's in retail over here i wouldn't consider anything else in that price range.
