There's a button on the bottom that puts it into File Mode instead of DVD mode....
you can do some junk with that.

It's all free if you're a mad tweaker and end up reinstalling every week

NVDVD plays all regular video formats like avi, mpeg, wmv and even mp3s, cd audio and images... I'm starting to like it :)

thats only nvdvd 2.0 :( not 1.71. 2.0 doesn't work for me.

Hello All,

This has been a very interesting survey reading about very good free players. So
Maybe someone does know whether or not one of these suggested players
is win98 suitable AND does also offer a good implementation for audio
recording ( i have a full duplex card that is working quite well with
a duplex sound driver under win98. Those players i'm aware have no recording
option implemented, neither for video nor for audio.
