Hey I was wondering if someone could help me to get nvaudio to work

I have already compiled and installed it but when i run
modprobe nvaudio I get this:

[root@localhost root]# insmod nvaudio
Using /lib/modules/2.4.20-30.9/kernel/drivers/sound/nvaudio.o
/lib/modules/2.4.20-30.9/kernel/drivers/sound/nvaudio.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

could someone help me to get my audio working?

Hi,
if you use kernel 2.6.4.* on an nforce2 board you shouldn't have problems with sound.
Use module snd-intel8x0 instead of nvaudio...start alsaconf and every thing should work fine.
!!!Before you update your kernel, I think it will also work with yours and the intel8x0 module.
Hope to help
