I wonder if uncommon high resolution are supported by Quadro FX 1000/2000/3000 card.
I work on 2k video processing under Linux and i have to choose the right card for the display.
Thanks for paying attention...

As far as I know, any Higher end GFFX card will do that res for you. I have a GFFX 5200 and I can do 1600x1200 easily.

In fact GFFX can display upto 2048x1536 pixel resolution and i need a little more (2048x1556).
Quadro FX 1000/2000/3000 specification announce 3840x2400 resolution support.
I can hope 2048x1556 to be supported but this resolution is quite unusal, just between QXGA (2048×1536) and QSXGA (2560×2048) standard resolution.
I want to be sure of this before investing into such expensive hardware...

Yes you can ask :)
I have to use a single screen and i'am not sure that CRT monitor can reach such resolution.
I think the only way you will be sure, is to e-mail nVidia support and ask them yourself.
They should be quick in answering that, and the best way to be sure the card will work well in that resolution since it's, like you say, a unusual resolution ( well, there are too many"unusual" resolutions, anyway ;) ).
Make sure you remember them you are using a Linux OS.
That's the best chance you have to be sure... and since it's a lot of $$$ for a specific work/system, that's what i'd do. ;)

2048x1536 support has been there since the tnt(with the first det drivers) and any geforce. you can try using powerstrip for custom resolutions but I cant get it to work past 2048x1536 properly
