Well i just tried them, my previous drivers were starstorm XQ 57.62
Aquamark3-51038 (small increase over XQ's)
Racer(a freeware driving simulation, very realistic that i consider a benchmark to test my settings) - 20fps MAX settings on EVERYTHING with sometimes increase to 23fps, which at 20 is about 5 more fps than the XQ's

Just downloaded them and yes, the Geforce 6800 ultra is everywhere. But I will need to take out my 9600XT and use my integrated to find out more.

*EDIT*Nevermind, it's not really worth my time.

I notice a SLIGHT change in the App. Profile interface. there is an option to select active profile below the application profile setting. no idea why there would be two boxes that choose the same thing pretty much.

:EDIT: i must say these drivers are working quite the wonder for me, those starstorms even though tweaked by Xaro, were tweaked by me as well, i just did those same tweaks that i did with the SS to the 60.72 and wow, i gained like 15 fps, when with the ss i only gained maybe 2 fps. Quality is equal to the StarStorms and performance is better!

Well I had nothing better to do so I tried it out. Here is a pic showing the driver version and date.

Woohoo! Thanks for the link. I assume that these are 32-bit drivers and not 64?

Cool. These drivers are running great here. Far Cry, NFS:U, Splinter Cell:PT, UT2k4, all running great if not better.

This is great news. It looks like NVIDIA is getting its act back together with regard to drivers. First we have two official releases within a few weeks of each other, now we're starting to see driver leaks, which is what really put NVIDIA over the top back in the day.

Good on 'em!

If you like playing NFS:U without the lighting bugs then, yes... ;)

I think I don't see any differences. Maybe that's because I don't play games. :)

Don't suppose they have fixed the ahem "micro stutters" in NFS U too?

Not for me. I still get a little the first time around the course.

Edit: As an update, they seem to work really well for me in everything but Far Cry. In Far Cry, I get some weird flashing/tearing type effect. It even occurs on the startup logo for Crytek, etc. In game, it'll look kind of like having 3 or 4 grey lines flashing against the light blue sky (for example). It seems to occur in the upper left corner of the screen for some reason.

Anyone noticed these drivers give or take about a 200 point increase for 3dmark2001SE?

Strangely enough, if they are its in Funny places. Car Chase 1, And Lobby 2 and 3 are what has recieved the Boosts, My system almost grabbed 200 FPS in Car Chase 1 :screwy:

But I managed to get 13,600 w/o OPCing :ORDER: Not that it matters at all..

Well these drivers BROKE everquest in a serious way, The Game Renders black garbage, And crap at the charactor select screen, And texture tearing artifacts all Over.

Downgrading. They are unofficiall after all.
