Yeah I zooming the image and of course the depth of the cooler look certainly a one slot solution. :)
This time no more complaints about 2 slots solution. :D

still has 2 molex and only 8 pipes
How are you so sure that it only has 8 pipes?

 Very funny. No it wont have 8 pipelines, Nvidia confirmed it has 16x1/32x0 pipelines.
Hmmm... Looks like the standard 5900/se Cooler.. No dustbuster... Looks even tamer than the 5950 cooler.

Yeah it look similar to a small cooler version from eVGA 5900SE cooler:

6800 Ultra cooler is a huge version.

Tell that to the B3D crowd. ;)

Got a link to that?
Every single generation of video cards has a bigger heatsink/fan than the last. I'm kinda curious what they will do in a few more years..heh

Here (http://www.theinquirer.net/Default.aspx?article=14972), the claim is still under NDA, anyway it will be expired very soon in a matter of few days (4 days left). :D I think somebody will break the NDA in 3 days time the day before the NDA expired.
Well AthlonXP1800's "Inqlink" isn't as stale as Geforce4ti4200's so... ;)

if it wouldnt have 2 molexes it would have been almost perfect
I think I can find an extra molex that I am not using. If not, I will just make one.
The small contingent of negative responses towards the potential need for a second molex connection kinda escapes me. What's wrong with that? Worried about your electric bill or something? ;) Heck, we've all upgraded our PSUs over the last year or two as HDs have come down so much in price, DVD drives, CD-RW drives, fans, buses, etc, etc. Even if the NV40 requires two "clean" connections to the PSU...why not just Y-split your HDs or whatever else you have on a dedicated connection? I guess I just see this as inevitable in that the more powerful the cards become the more juice they're likely to need.

If you use a Y splitter, that is not dedicated. I could very well use a Y splitter, but I think nV was calling for 2 dedicated molex's. Enermax & Antec PSU already come with 1 dedicated Molex specifically for Video Cards.

hmmm... What if it sucks so much juice my HD's refuse to spin??!!!! JK :)
Well then, you just Y-split yourself into a frenzy and then go sit in the corner and mumble to yourself over and over again that "everythingsgonnabeok". ;) But you see what I mean? Devices like HDs (most anyway 15k rpms are a bit different), DVD/CD drives, fans, etc...none of those "require" a dedicated PSU connection so just Y-split the crap out of em.

if the r420 has only 1 molex connector while the nv40 needs two, wouldnt you favor the r420 if performance and price was equal? I realize this is an nvidia fan forum, but we need to look at it both ways ;)
