do any of u know any mod for the bfg fx5600 ultra video card? and is the fan on this card too weak to overclock? also y does it say that when i overclock high it says pleaser lower ur settings is it my vgas problems cuz i see ppl with the same type of vga and they can overclock over 900mhz on their memory? thanxs

The best mod for that card would be to sell it and buy an FX5900SE/XT. The FX5200 and 5600 cards even in ultra form are pretty craptacular. Anyone will tell you that.

And as for overclocking, whatever your limit is, that's what it is. Some people get lucky and have cards that overclock well. It's pure luck of the draw. BTW, when people say 900 MHz on the memory, they're referring to the effective memory speed. The actual is 450 MHz (x2 for DDR gives 900).

i was on a budget and couldnt afford more than 120 dollars for a new graphics card lol and a 5900se is like 180

An FX5700 non-ultra is about in that price range, and most of them are monster overclockers - some get better than 5700 Ultra speeds. Plus they get the core improvements of the NV35 (FX5900) while still being on a 128-bit bus.

What are the highest rates you can get while keeping stability? FYI 450/850 is a good solid OC for a 5600U, as it does increase performance noticeably...
